Unlike many pilots and flight lovers, when I was a kid I never showed up any interest in aircrafts or building plane models. My passion lighted up when I was 18 when Alfredo, my ex girlfriend’s father, put my ass on a glider. It was simply love and from that time big part of my life was devoted to aviation. Today I’m captain on Airbus 330 flying for a chinese airline - that’s the reason why the name of my RV7- but I never gave up “real” flying. The Sprit of China project was born due to this powerful need. Its realization has been possible thanks to a plane building master and very good friend, Umberto Monechi. Building Spirit of China was not only putting pieces together but a way full of emotions, not always pleasant, that I’ll never forget. It was one of the most significant aeronautical experience in my life.
